Pai Mei
After watching KB vol.2 last night. I couldn't get the character of Pai Mei outta my head. I don't know if many of you will agree with me, but Pai Mei is a very funny character!!!
If QT ever decides to make a spin off movie about Pai Mei. I will be there ready to watch it! I love this character!!! Gordon Liu did a good job portraying this character.
This topic should be fine. Its a hole topic about an important character. Anything about this character can be talked about in here.
Anyway: I don't know how to describe this, but Pai was incredibly corny yet I loved him. I had a feeling that since he was so corny that I should hate having him in the movie, but I just couldn't bring myself to believe that. The whole play with his beard thing was annoying at first but in no time it was just funny (in a good way). It was also great to see what she had done with the things that she learned from him such as: [SPOILER - highlight to read]: punching through the coffin, plucking out eyes, and the pressure point thing that she killed Bill with. Although I wasn't a fan of the actual move that kills Bill, the symbolism that it showed was great.

remember the tale of the monk who "dissed" pai mei? well, i was watching the kill bill v.2 tonight and they shown a trailer of a movie called "hero"... if you remember that part from KB v.2 and seen the trailer, i would say that pai mei will be a part of that movie, but he'd probably have a different name...
what i meant by my last post was dont you think we should stop saying"umm i dont know" of "i havent seen it" if you apply to that then plz dont post anything...thats like spam almost..

He was pretty funny, but the theater that we were in, people were cracking up every time [SPOILER - highlight to read]: he stroked his beard and moustache... which was kinda annoying, wasn't that funny.
i used to do that all the time...it was cute for awhile...then it got annoying...then people threatened to cut it...but yeah pai mei was hilarious...i loved the part when he was putting the bride in a arm lock...
