 Lord Of The Rings Sweeped The Oscars!!!!!!

Tonight, Lord of the Rings successfully got 11 out of 11 wins at the 76th Oscars, in the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. Only TWO other films, in the history of the Academy have achieved this great nummer: Titanic and Ben-Hur. I'd like to speak for all of the Lord of the Rings fans when I say......

Yep, 11 in one year...tied the record. It deserved it. The overwhelming amount of work and passion that was put into these three films surpasses anything else in recent memory, and it deserves everything it gets, and then some.

This is the first time since american Beauty won that I felt that the oscars were solid all around. Everything that deserved to win did.

Unfortunatly i agree I think this is the academy over compensating for the last 2 years, having said that look how many awards Titanic won. I have not managed to stay awake once the 4 times my fiance made me watch it and not even the lure of Kate winsletts norks kept me awake.

same here! it was an incredible movie! It did deserve every Oscar it got and I'm sooooooooooo happy it was named best Picture of the year because it was just amazing! GO LORD OF THE RINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
