Just saw this movie after hearing a lot about it pretty much it is about two Irish brothers, Connor and Murphy, who believe themselves ordained by God to rid the world of evil men. Their first killing is in self-defense; but after that, they start killing with devotion, gunning down a summit of the Russian mafia. Willem Dafoe plays a gay FBI agent who knows what the boys are doing but feels that their vigilante tactics are necessary. Its pretty violent and has some nice camera work, and ideas in it...overall its about a 7/10.
Really cool movie they could have cut down some scenes but who cares great movie with some really great ideas in it. 9/10
They are making a sequel to this FYI.

this movie let me down in so many ways.
I still have no idea what the hell it was trying to be. It wasn't all that funny, it was really filmed too well, and it was not violent at all by my standards. They really are just not trying anymore.
I think the indecision that the movie took on what genre it was trying to be was what amde it so good. If i had known nothing about the movie, lets say i cought it one late night on showtime, iwould have never expected vigalante violence, that just came out of no where, some guys just up and decided to be crime fighters. the characters were also appealing and written well

they were as likeable as a well-drawn portrait of some ancient Egyptian God. And what I mean by that is, in theory they should be cool and appealing, but get boring very quickly. This is very true about the two brothers in the movie. There is little to no character development in the movie.
