The Justice League face far more powerful enemies but they don't do it on their own. If the Avengers get all of the prep and assistance the Justice League does, both of the teams will do well.

That DC lineup is much more impressive than the Marvel lineup. Team DC would roflstomp the overwhelming majority of Avengers rogues but the same can't be said about Team Marvel and JLA rogues.

JLA does better, Avengers usually have help from X-men/FF/Various space heroes to deal with bigger threats, and your typical JL roster is more stacked with heavy hitters than your typical avengers squad
