God Warriors of KMC!!
Some posts I read in this forum make me think of this woman, does anyone know what her religion was? Also, are those that fit her profile (at least given their posts and apparent attitude) a part of the same religion? Does anyone feel she was correct in her actions and statements?
I couldn't find a decent explanation for her behaviors, if someone has a decent link feel free to post it.
Your mom is correct, however isn't that what the American TV and entertainment is all about?
Exploiting poor, mentaly ill, desparate people, who audiences cannot wait to get humiliated so they can get some sick pleasure out of getting people act in the most ridiculous ways?

That's ridiculous and irrelevant. Like "Trading Spouses" expected a crazed religious woman to have an overzealous outburst such as she did. It's not fair to say that American TV is all about sick and twisted pleasures from mentally ill people.
As I stated, and as I will continue to stand by, American TV is all about humiliation of poor, desperate and mentaly ill (proof in a link above).
And whoever watches this DOES get some kind of sick pleasure out of watching people humiliate themselves over and over again.
People who got this women on the show, MUST have known what kind of a psychotic and extreme individal she is, and that is WHY she was picked to begin with.
The producers counted on her having an outburst and humiliating herself in front of millions, as that would burst ratings. They counted on her having such an outburst so everyone can be AMUSED by her behaviour.
What TV is about, is people getting hurt and humiliated! The worse humiliation, the worse injury, the better.

Uh, nope. I don't lack reading comprehension, it seems.
That's not fair to say. It's also unfair to label her psychotic. She is what we call a fanatic. How do they know she was going to act like this? Maybe she didn't act like this before. I didn't see her tweaking out in the vehicle.
So? Don't blame TV. Hell, I could fair up and say it is the fault of the watchers because of common interest to injury and abstract actions seen on TV. American TV Producers just play on that and give the audience what it truly wants, while boosting ratings.
