The only way this would even be a challenge is if there was a precident that solar had problems with psi's....which i dont believe he did...master darque was the only one and he used magics of a sort to mess with him

I remember when one of the most powerful psi's in the Valiant-verse, attempted to invade Solar’s mind -- he was easily expelled:

I also remember that same psi trying to peer into Solar’s mind, on another occasion -- this time his attempt wasn’t successful, period:

Good lord you can't be serious.
Solar [and ironically enough, his costume ], were originally devoloped by Gold Key Comics in 1962 .
Cyclops wasn't even concieved until 1963 , [and his costume looked quite a bit different back then anyway].
So who ripped off who?

I've just heard a few people say Solar's costume is a Cyclops ripoff -- and it's simply incorrect info.

I read through the Solar 60 issue run. That telepath was no where near as powerful, as it claims to be. At least not in that instant. And Solar did struggle with Harada mind tempering (who is also not in the same category as X-Man).
Like wise, X-Man has experience dealing with character made of broad energy. Remember, “The Harvester” was not a match for X-Man. Even after he siphoned off the energies of the entire 616 planet , along with his occupants. All of this took place in pre House of M or Devastation.

Solar destroys the Universe.... X-Man dies.
Trying to put him in Solar's league is ridiculous, imo.
