Ive noticed a lot info concerning the latest "Armageddon" End of the world or Rapture date, 21 May 2011, claim.
This has being going on through out history, and I was wondering maybe there´s some genetic error in some people which makes them think the worlds going to end soon, most of the time.
Ok we are all going to die eventually so that can be seen as "end of the world" in a personal way. Is it the religous doctination which brings this about, or does the religous idea of the end of the world appeal to certain people?
Well I just hope all those who do beleive in this latest "End" will donate all their belongings and money to the poor before the date comes, showing their true commitment and belief!!!
Not everyone otherwise they woulnd´t come about and people wouldn´t kill themselves in order to jump on the back of UFO´s flying behind haleys comet, which happened a few years ago.
They use a lot of bible verses to try and mathematically predict the end of the world... This isn't National Treasure. There is no hidden, secret time-line in the Bible. Let's not forget that Jesus specifically said that no one would know the date or time until it happened.
I could give more reasons their "time-line" is flawed, but that isn't really the point of this thread.
Why do they do this? Who knows? Maybe they really think the world is going to end. The verses they brought up COULD be interpreted in a way that might suggest something like this.
Or maybe they just want attention. Either one seems viable to me.
I believe Jehova's Witnesses (or maybe LDS, I get them mixed up) stopped releasing their predictions in the 1990s after they got it wrong for the twentieth time.

The worst part, come 5/22 and they're not raptured up into heaven in all their naked glory, they'll simply state yet again "we got the date wrong due to a mathematical error calculation in the Bible; we fixed it now; it's really now going to happen on *insert future date*", instead of just being adults and admitting they're idiots.
I noticed it´s "Draw Muhammad day" on the 21st, the day before. So no need to worry about getting killed by some Islamic lunatic the next day if I feel like doing a drawing.
