Team one. Nova and Quasar are closer in their power (although Annihilus thought Nova was more powerful, and Nova toyed with Evil Quasar) than Supes and glads. I'd expect Kalark to fold as usual once Supes steps it up while Quasar and Nova drags on. Then of course Supes and Wendell roll from there.
The only time Gladiator confidence drop is when low Metas or people that he know that should outright die from a single punch from him withstands his fury.
Example...Reed Richards standing in one spot with a smile on his face while Gladiator is hitting him with a blast of heat vision hotter than the sun...hitting him with city level busting punches. Reed Richards. If you are comparing Reed to Superman (lol) be my guest.
Second, Cannonball. Gladiator hit Cannonball, someone that he knows he should be able to kill with a single hit. Gladiator hit him with a punch that was going to send him to the core of the sun and Cannonball absorbed it. Gladiator have the look of WTF, this weakling just withstood my moat powerful punch. Now if you are comparing Superman to Cannonball, be ky guest.
Moral of story, the only time Gladiator strength drops is when he is fighting a lesser being that withstands his power. For one, Superman will be giving him a fight, 2, Superman isn't standing in one spot tanking Gladiator strength and 3, normally when people gives Gladiator a fight, his power grow, not drop.
Nova and Quasar are pretty much equals. This fight depends on Superman and Gladiator which could basically go to either of them. I would give Superman a small edge against Gladiator though because Gladiator is a cocky lil something and that's the wrong way to be when fighting someone like Superman. His last choice would be to stand over Supes laughing while he is on the ground because Supes will turn the battle around immediately.
With that said, since I am not ignoring Gladiators character, he would probably lose a small majority against Supes but I think Nova can take Quasar out (due to his versatility) in enough time to turn the tides in some of the battles.
5/5 split. If I were to give a majority, I would give it to Supes squad until I see a personality change with Gladiator.
I'd expect Nova to do better since he doesn't merely have to stand and bang with Supes. Not many are going to beat Supes at that game. Quasar fought Glads before and Glads withstood the basic Quasar tactics I.e. constructs etc. Wendell tried bfr but even that didn't work since Glads just held on tight lol. He was also strong enough to make wendell feel his grip even through his hue/nimbus/auto shields or whatever he calls it now. I think as was shown Glads can pretty much take whatever Q can dish out and get the win, thus leaving Supes to face both Nova and Glads. Then they roll.
Funny how match up's change the entire outcome of a fight lol. Or maybe its the storytelling on my part lol.
Wouldn't be easy to send him through it in the first place. Superman has held open rifts in space-time by his bare hands at two ocassions IIRC.
Here, he goes from sun to source wall by creating a boom tube like effect though he was amped at the time (please log in to view the image) (please log in to view the image)
If you like to see, I can post superman sending an entire planet to another dimension and escaping from a pocket dimension via superspeed.
Check this out (please log in to view the image)
If you want I can post superman sealing tears in reality with HV and sealing holes in space-time by rubbing his hands together or breaking mind control with a whistle or stuff like that too. He does these kinds of insane things regularly.
