From what I've heard of E.K. Johnson is that she's very character-focused and paces well (sometimes even slowly, apparently) and she's very detail oriented. I think someone like Ahsoka needs an author who won't rush, and will flesh out the complexities of her psyche and emotions. I haven't read any of Johnson's books obviously, but from what I hear she's pretty legit. Can't wait!

I've only read Tarkin and Dark Dicsiple in full, and read like 1/4 of A New Dawn . The next canon book on my list is the Leia novel, which is one of the few that seem to be actually good.
