Thanos has handled X-Man before. Nothing he can psychically do to Thanos. Genis and Thanos are top at matter manipulation/power cosmic so that will be a fight for the ages. Genis would have to get close to fight Thanos, and that easily becomes his greatest mistake. Thanos wins this more than likely.

Genis takes Thanos down. Thanos is no god, and I can't see any reason why Genis wouldn't take him down as he pretty much owned Odin powered Thor and some random Asgardian Giants and helped in restarting the universe.

I think Genis would beat Thanos because Thanos is used to a very sane Captain Marvel. He would be caught by surprise (which is why I say Prep time is important)
