A GL Ring vs. Supermans powers

Don't know if this is the right place to put this, but if it's not I'm sure the mods will move it.

Ok, here's the deal. You get to pic either a GL Ring or the powers of current Superman. This would be you, Joe blow with either the powers of Superman or the Ring. What would you choose ?

Umm...what?nearly everytime gls and supes go head to head he beats and or stomps them....iv never seen anything to actually prove they are faster than supes.

Half your post was irrelevant.

Gl's have willed themselves to match The Flash's speed, with little effort at that.
Matching Superman's shouldn't be a problem.

the ring thing is lame and people could just take it off you (if they're strong enough).

imo:
ring = willpower, frail/short-lived.
superman powers = for 'life'.

Lobo is approximate w/Superman in STR, and *he* couldnt do it mainly cuz the Ring wouldnt let him.

the only way a GL-Ring comes off the users finger is if they take it off, or they havent willed it to stay on.

GL's do get beat down by strength, so I would be surprised if someone couldn't just take it off them... also TK/matter manipulation might work, if done by someone with a lot of power.

Lobo's not a good example imo, he's still basically a gag character.

Guy Gardner twisted time & space to bring the Shark back from the brink of death......that it occured MONTHS after the Shark had been killed via atomization I why I mention it.

Ch'p reversed a reality shift that was occuring in the universe (this was right after CoIE) to prevent a person from being eliminated.

Tom Kalmaku rebuilt Oa (cities and building and *everything*) years after Kyle had blown it up.

also, we know that it *is possible* to tap into the GE to manipulate it for yur own purposes, so the things the Ring has done a being *might* also be able to accomplish.

Supes gets beat down by STR, so thats nothing different. and if the Ring could resist Lobo-lvl STR, wat makes ya think TK would be more successful in the same attempt??

now, matter-manip is a diff story, but GLs have a *better chance* of resisting, and REVERSING, said attempts than Supes does.

well, thats yur opinion. however look at how their fights go, and he generally hits as good as he *gets hit*, so I wouldnt sneeze at his STR.
