Best scenes of characters who had their opponents dead to rights in combat and could've finished them off were it not for some form of interference... For instance, one of my favorite scenes...
Loki had a partership type thing going on with Doom, so he teleported him out as soon as he realized Doom was down for the count. Thor had some help to depower the destroyer, but it's still a pretty bitchin scene if you ask me
And to be fair, until Balder severed the power from the Asgardians to power the Destroyer, Doom was going to beat the phuck out of Thor, so the same comic essentially had two dead to rights scenes for either side.
