and even then the spectre himself said that fighting him is pointless (note that he was basically fighting only one of his 4 physical forms which wasn't even complete) and that he can only be defeated by attacking his dimension, and to do that, heroes from beyond space and time need to be assembled:

and how do they do that? the JSA , at one point, were empowered by their norse counterparts (power of the gods) to change the outcome of the twilight of the gods event which hitler caused, they were doing it in the limbo (which is beyond space and time), so the spectre arrives at this particular instance and the waverider was able to freeze time at that point so that the heroes (who are amped by the power of the gods) could go on and fight abraxis in his dimension

here comes the impressive part:

so now, the heroes go into abraxis' dimension, and they see his true physical form, they think he is helpless since his consciousness has been divided into 4 physical forms in the new earth universe (those 4 eras) but this proves to be untrue, and now they have 5 forms to deal with, so they all attack him simultaneously (including the spectre) in all those 4 timelines and his own dimension, and even then this proves not enough

^in the end as you can see, he was defeated only when his power source (the souls he feeds on) was cut.

my conclusion: i still believe sivaa takes this for reasons proven in the other thread.
