If he's every bit as powerful as he seems, then I doubt any of the more mainstream versions (Preboot or DCNU) can match up.

It's too early to tell definitively, imo.

2. I highly doubt that Darkseid would be stupid enough to make someone that is already stated to be his peer even more powerful than he already is.

Don't take it personally, there are way too many Brutaal threads coming up lately and we need more showings to gauge them. I can provide you with some versions of Superman that would beat Brutaal -Pre-crisis Supes, Cosmic Armor Supes-, but I think they don't really mean a whole lot to the question you posted.

but thats exactly the case. it was stated before the amp he was a peer to darkseid. and now he got a power boost and also he got the omega beams of darkseid so yes thats exactly the case. its just the fact he is brainwashed so darkseid want him to be that powerful so nothing can stand in his way. he got a personal trans - maybe even skyfather servent that stomps everything in his way.
