Anakin Skywalker vs Jim Hawkins
A.k.a., "battle of the bricks". Because they're both as smart as.
Anakin couldn't figure out Palpatine was Sith Lord, despite all the signs pointing to him being a Sith Lord. Like his bringing them up all the time in casual conversation, saying alarming things like "From a certain point of view, it is the Jedi who are evil", telling him exactly what he'd want to hear from the visions of Padme dying in childbirth (And Anakin thought nothing of it)..
Jim Hawkings couldn't figure out Long John Silver was a pirate, despite his parrot cawing about pieces of eight, all the piratey looking men in a dive he was enlisting, the Black Dog casually walking through the place... There's a reason he called Jim "Smart as paint".
So who wins, by not being the dumbest?

Never let anyone else define you. Don't be a jerk just to be a jerk, but if you are expressing your true inner feelings and beliefs, or at least trying to express that inner child, and everyone gets pissed off about it, never NEVER apologize for it. Let them think what they want, let them define you in their narrow little minds while they suppress every last piece of them just to keep a friend that never liked them for themselves in the first place.
