Gender: Male Location: Planning to take over the WORLD!
i wouldn't say and ant exactly . . .
i've always thought of onslaught as approaching/equalling skyfather level. others will claim he is much higher. believe what you will, but based on what i've seen he would certainly take out norrin radd . . .
i hate this sort of match up SS wields cosmic powers no mather what onslaught does he's still jus a comibanation of 2 mutants thats all what can he do against a herald of big G? its jus foolish
ive come to the conclusion that kmc forums is RULED by fanboys, it is only here that u find people who think its ridiculous even to pit onslaught against the OH SO GREAT POWER OF SILVER SURFER, when it can easily be argued that onslaught was near lower level abstract power level n could easily take out galactus.
Onslaught is purely psionic energy. He is a creation by itself and exists outside of Xavier and Magneto. Just think of Onslaught as a creation between two mens minds. Much like a baby is a creation of a male and female, but physically speaking. Onslaught has his own conciousness.
He could take out Galactus if no one retcons the entire saga, which a lot of comic readers wished would happen. I personally like the guy.
The bad thing about it was how Cyttorak was displayed as a big Juggernaut. A lot of things didn't go well in terms of keeping it together, but I do like Onslaught. I personally see him as one of the strongest beings ever, but like I said, most comic lovers will say it doesn't count because he should be retconned.
Which is why they killed him off so quick.
With Franklin Richards Onslaught is a beast. Considering that Franklin might be a little celestial himself, and adding X-man, Charles, and Magneto to the mix, its just too much for SS.

This is kind of off topic, but why does Marvel (and DC for that matter) always seem to be increasing the power level of characters? Just about every single character has recieved some kind of upgrade, and then you have characters like Franklin Richards who is so powerful its stupid. Not every character should be given the "Phoenix" treatment; what the hell happened to creativity? Enought of my rant. Onslaught wins.

I agree, but I believe that they have nothing new to come up with. I mean, how many times can you live seeing Magneto going up against the X-Men? They need to add twists here and there, as well as more powerful characters in order for the good guys to add more power to themselves.
However, when I see such things I wonder...It's like in DragonBall. Frieze was like the most powerful being, and it took just the transformation of SS1 to beat him. Then you go on to other beings, like Buu or something, and if you compare old frieza to him, it's up like 100 notches. That is when I find it stupid. Sooner or later, he will be like a speck of dust.
