So he is like champagne, or a collector's item? Or the price of anything (inflation)?
Hmmm.
What happens when he's 1000.

"The Daemon lied with every breath. It could not help itself but to deceive and dismay, to riddle and ruin. The more we conversed, the closer I drew to one singularly ineluctable fact: I would gain no wisdom here."
My sister saw this and said it was terrible shit; I was willing to discount her opinion on the basis that she is a woman and this a Die Hard movie, but alas, she may have been right...

It's not as good as the others in terms of there being too much zoom in/zoom out and shakycam, editing is abit confusing at times in the chase scene at the beginning but it does have ridiculous amounts of action and violence...and I liked the family story..there were good aspects to it. It does verge on self-parody though man, due to regularly tanking the ridiculous amounts of things that would have even killed Rambo...McClane is definitely in Quasi superhero territory now.
IE its arguably the worst of the series, when compared to 1,2,3... but its to not too far away from 4, aside from the things mentioned above.
If you are a Die Hard fan (in both senses of the term) then go see it, even on a cheap night.. you'll probably like it as I did overall.. If not though, 'meh'...
At first I was worried of McClane entering foreign film territory and the whole son thing. But personally I believe they did the best with what they had and hopefully the next film is based in new York again.
All they need with this series is John being a cop mowing down crims in his home city.
He,s achieved Marv status but better. They need to work on that.
He can call in CIA favours from his son and kick ass with his partner.
Saw this this weekend. It sucked very badly. Granted I missed the first 10 or 15 minutes, but I don't think that would have made any difference. It sucked. Terrible dialogue, terrible shaky-cam cinematography. And they showed all the money shot action scenes on the trailer. Very disappointing.
