lol, so you'll just cover your ears towards an entire "side" if one person ticks you off from said side? I agreed with the underlying point of Zop's post, not his entire thing. Though Zop has fair points at times, so he's not the worst guy to fully agree with. If I agreed with any part of h1's post though, you'd be in the right to report me

It's not about being in the majority, it's about seeing things in a way that they make sense to you

In a sense, yes....had you just said that you had a different view of the scene, I probably would have just asked what you thought was happening, however going out of your way to agree with an obvious troll, led me to believe you were trolling.

If trolling wasn't your intention, then I apologize for treating your posts like they were.

simply agreeing with someone doesn't make one a troll. That's like saying agreeing with carver makes you a child molester

I'd say zop's posting style has to do with it

It's the fact that he was trolling at the time you agreed with him that led me to believe you were also trolling.

I'd think the same thing if h1 or quan were in the middle of trolling a thread and someone came in saying that they agreed with h1/quan.

Of course you could. But, you would always know you were lacking vital "Man Knowledge". laughing

I was watching John Carpenter's "The Thing" last night and thought I would throw that out there.

MacReady finds his way back to the station during the storm after being "cut loose". He doesn't know who are human and who is the thing.

While the group gets ready to kill him, he breaks a window and when they get to him, he is holding a bundle of dynamite in one hand and a lit flare in his other.

"Anyone messes with me and the whole camp goes."

Well, back to the thread...

Despite Thor winning most of their matchups in the comics, in a PIS/CIS-free scenario, SS should win more often than not.

He is faster and a lot more versatile.
His exotic powers (ie. Black holes, matter manip, etc) will be too much for Thor.

Thor only won in Blood and Thunder where he was basically beating everybody up. A weakened Surfer amped by Loki was beating Thor. The Surfer also brought Thor back to life back when Durok beat him up. This was after he beat Durok by KO and dumping him into the future. Then we have their recent confrontation where Surfer stalemated Thor just using strength and EP. Their history isn't as clear cut as some folks make it out to be.

Lol. That implies that it somehow excuses Surfer's performance.

Not saying you are, but it's just funny.

Actually, Loki brought Surfer beyond the Galactus barrier and into Asgard Space. He'd have access to ambient Cosmic energy that he was deprived off before would he not?

Also, he merged his power with Surfer's own and Norrin said he'd never felt more powerful. And Thor was holding back I believe.

Never understood why time traveling would -temporarily- knock out Durok, but whatever, a win is a win I guess. Although it's not really relevant here because Durok was clearly beyond Surfer in direct combat and we've seen Thor withstand similar effects. Although tbf, Surfer was not at full power at the time.

It should be noted, Thor without Mjolnir has beaten Durok, and much more convincingly.

You forgot to mention that Thor was wounded and weakened at the time. Which is even more amusing because many for some reason argued that Post-Annihilation Surfer would own Thor.

I agree, it's not. Although Thor takes 5-7/10 for me against Surfer.

This fight could go either way. Two of the most powerful Heralds in comics but if I had to choose i would go with Thor.

It was a poor performance by Surfer and a lousy fight. My point is that people act like this is their entire history.

That's speculation on your part. Asgard is in another dimension so who knows if that's true. Anyway, holding back or not Thor was on the losing end of that battle.

Durok lost the fight by KO. Not sure how's he's beyond the Surfer in combat if that's true. At least you ackowledge Surfer cradling Thor in his arms and bringing him back to life.

Thor did beat Durok soundly in their next encounter. To counter that we have Surfer taking it to Mrrungo-Mu when Thor was easily defeated in battle and captured.

Thor may have been wounded by he certainly wasn't weakend. Thor was able to cause Galactus pain in that fight. A weakend Thor isn't doing that, IMO. Thor also had some sort of armor in that fight as well.

I say these two split but only because Norrin fight like a fool against Thor. He also seems to do some jobbing, IMO.
