SUPERMAN/BATMAN #45 Written by Michael Green
Art and cover by Shane Davis & Matt Banning
The Man of Steel's and the Dark Knight's quest to rid the world of Kryptonite hits a roadblock when they realize not everyone's willing to hand over the deadly substance. One of those unwilling is Aquaman - and the result is a brutal undersea battle!
No. That was just a mistake, because Meltzer wrote his issues ages or something. Didio has stated that the Aquaman in JLA #12 was the new guy. It very clearly wasn't, though. So yeah, mistake that they're choosing to ignore.
Finally got the issue, and it was actually kind of...good. It really was, which suprized me. The Clown Fish was crazy but interesting and the reveal of Aquateen and Narwhal is Koryak [Never would have guessed]was good.
Also had a nice durability showing of Aquateen taking a bomb that would have destroyed half a block never even hurt him.
Yes! Two fixes of old school Aquaman in Feb. And Aqualad to boot[/i].

Waid writing and Perez drawing? Perfect for classic Aquaman. Been waiting for Aquaman to make it to Brave and the Bold, and i'm glad it's the real one and not Aquanoob.
"DiDio said there are no Aquaman series plans, but he will be appearing in a team book. He said that plans for Aquaman being a regular member of the Outsiders were scrapped."
" Plans for a Hawkman ongoing? "There are always plans for Hawkman," DiDio said, noting the same thing pertains to Aquaman."
Don't see why it wouldn't be canon. But also... Wrong Aquaman for this thread. >.>
I might do a Arthur Joseph respect thread at some point. Rather keep this thread for the original.
Here's a cool section from JLA: Rock of Ages that highlights Aquaman...
Aquaman (Classic)
--------------------------------------------- Durability
--------------------------------------------- Super-Team Family #13 [Vol.1]:
Takes a super-tornado crated by the wind pirates, it knocks him out but causes no physical damage not unlike the marine life and surroundings. Since this is classic Aquaman this is quite a feat to take this tornado which was a amplified to unnatural levels.
