That is blatantly untrue. Palpatine didn't even view himself as evil for the sake of it and wanted to bring peace to the galaxy which isn't evil. What examples are you thinking of for Sidious ?
Sometimes you need a war to establish law and order. Palaptine didn't take over the galaxy to be evil he did so because he believed in his way. That isn't evil.
Well same goes for tom though. He legitimately believed all mules sucked and the world would be better without them. But while tom believes that through having a terrible father and inheriting in from salaam, pals got his from...meh.
See that's different as Palpatine didn't show any racist behavior but just wanted to run and make it a well oiled machine. Whereas Voldemort specially targeted a group not because of their behavior or actions which is far more evil.
Not really. His evil came from racism pals comes from absolutely nothing. Voldemort is just such a better written character to be as cartoony evil as Palestine.
Voldemort was racist and had much more evil acts that he himself committed than Palpatine. The other thing I can gather from Palp supporters are their feelings about him being more evil. It isn't based off any evidence just their instincts. Hilarious tbh.
I'm just going off what you said to me in our discussion really. Palpatine is repeatedly aggressive towards the jedi, it's not the other way around.

What are you talking about? Voldemort's actions are the very opposite of "understandable". I'm pretty sure he's evil because he was conceived via magical rape. He didn't suffer a tragic event nor was he mistreated at all. There is no sob story. He was in an orphanage until he was 10 yes, but he terrorized the people there too. He was never the victim. For whatever reason he was born an a-hole.
Palpatine had fun being evil, but he wasn't evil for the fun of it. He wanted power, he saw the darkside as the best way to do it.
Both these people committed atrocities. Voldemort was going to kill a baby. Palpatine ordered kids killed. Neither of them could truly be trusted by their allies. I suppose you could argue Voldemort did kinda consider sparing Harry's mom, but she just wouldn't get out of the way so he thought f*ck it. Chicks, amirite?

It really doesn't matter who is more evil. What matters is who is more cunning and patient. The Sith were known for their patience beginning with Bane. Sidious would probably ally himself Voldemort and betray and kill him down the road sometime. What many here are forgetting is that Sidious's Master was *Darth Palegius and remember that Palegius "had such a knowledge of the dark side that he was able to cheat death" (one of the conspiracies is that Snoke is Palegius) - it is unknown whether Sidious knew that ability. He just stringed Anakin along to turn him.
