The Suggestion Thread

It's been discussed many times before, and I've always stated that I'm against deleting accounts.

I know this, but every time the subject comes up the forum has grown substantially and these accounts have remained unused. Won't there come a time when the size of the forum and the non-use of the accounts in question warrants some sort of clear out? As I said, if your main reason for not allowing the re-use of taken usernames is because you prefer originality, it seems unfair. Especially as the forum grows and more and more members find their preferred name is unavailable, because someone who never visits has already taken it 😬

I can see your point, but in order to achieve this we would have to delete accounts, which I am reluctant to do.

I think only about 1 or 2 entries has been put forth for the SW Banner, and that thread's been up for at least a week.

Raz would have to make a big essay explaining what we are doing and post it on top of every thread not just the ones unknown. Like they did the tagline thing, I am sure people will make them. Some forums will have Banners asap(the major ones) the one sthat don't have a Banner well, don't lol because no one cares but I am sure in time they would make it.

Not really a particular number. Just enough to generally realize that it's the proper amount for the idea.

We now have a new tag for youtube.

To utilize the youtube vB code, all you need to input is the code from the youtube url. i.e. for http://youtube.com/watch?v=0XxI-hvPRRA - the code would be 0XxI-hvPRRA.

So, [youtube]0XxI-hvPRRA[/youtube] would produce:

I quite liked it. Was easier to find out if you posted yourself at one time. Not I have to open the thread and perform a search. Just a little more annoying. And it doesn't tell me how much I participated when it was more than 200 posts or something. It was a useful tool to me. Maybe that could be brought back, if it is not too much trouble.
