i doubt venom will appear in any of the films as he'd be awkward to explain to people who don't know the history...... more likely be electro or mysterio....... someone like that......plus harry goblin...... obviously
Man, the problems with all superhero movies is that they're made for the general public and the stories have to be altered to play to the ignorance of the general public who have no idea who these guys are. That's why, yes, I fear Venom may not make it into the movies even though I believe the die-hard Spidey fans would bring in enough money cuz Venom is a huge fan favorite.
This fight depends on what version of Jean Grey we choose.
If she can use some of the powers of Phoenix, Jedi are doomed.If she's the Jean Grey with only her powers, Jedi stands serious chance.
DP and Blade are great fighters, I like them, but the swords of DP and the titanium sword of Blade compared to Lightsabers are like a comb compared to a samurai sword.
Yeah, Jean Grey is non-Phoenix cuz we all know she's crazy powerful in that form. If you read the 1st post, I said Blade & Deadpool were given a month to train w/ LIGHTSABERS. Of course I know regular swords are crap compared to lightsabers! Shame on you!
I just reply after reading the title of the topic.
Blade and DP with Lightsabers, I say they can own Vader and then manage to kill Luke.
JG can block luke with her telekinesis that even in her classical form is pretty powerful, throwing him chunk of grounds or objects she found on the battlefield, Vader on the other hand, he's a cyborg, and he's not powerful as he was in human form, so with LS, Blade and DP can kill him.
Not even a battle cause jen grey would kill them both by herself without the help of pheonix. With pheonix and they go running off before the fight starts.
Lightsabers are, for all intents and purposes, basically plasma blades. Though possibly improved by the Jedi using them, we know from the existence of the Panarei that the lightsaber make matters. That takes it out of the game: Luke and Darth are using one, albeit impressive, type of weapon against opponents with veritable arsenals.
The Force may be strong with young Luke and Vader, but they've shown a pretty pathetic ability to incorporate Force into lightsaber battles. If Jean uses a combination of telepathy and telekinesis to keep Luke and Vader guessing, Blade slips in and out as he's wont to do and combines swordplay with weaponry, and Deadpool uses ranged throwing weapons, they'll win, though with at least one member dead.
Okay, Azn, missed that, but you must admit that even without lightsabers for everybody it's anyone's game.
Then again, giving a month to train with lightsabers might actually be NET WORSE because these guys are using weapons they're not used to. Why not just give them analogous weapons? Give Blade an enchanted weapon that can't be broken by a lightsaber, etc.
Look, Jedi may be intense psychics, but they're sword-and-sorcery psychics. They either use their psychic abilities or they fight with swords and some assistance (jumping, etc.) If they're stuck in a situation where they have to fight both, I think they lose.
