You are right about that. For example, what's the purpose of having Psylocke (I assume it's current version unless stated otherwise) in the same team as Invisible Woman? That should mean that she's filling "marial artist\hand to hand" slot in the team...but again... there's Catwoman.

Another inconsistent thing is with telepathy. Jean\Emma can shut down the minds of great deal of participants in the fight. And then things will go weird...since after that onslaught Emma will have to go diamond at least for a while. But sadly for her, team 2 has little chance in that fight.
And that's sad that I have to try to avoid siding with Storm's fanboys there...

And wait... Supergirl and Nova (Herald Nova?) are in the same team? Are you crazy?And Shadowcat is also there... that's what I mean by imbalanced.

Emma is pretty much adept in terms of tech (at least psionic manipulations-related) either. Mutivac and plenty of other stuff...like her mind-switching "gun".
