WTF is wrong with you people? blade runner. It's harrison ford hunting down androids in an urban world. And finally having to face one with a broken hand and barely any sleep.

Rambo.

rocky.

gladiator

magnum, P.I. (its a t.v. show, but it qualifies. He lives on a beach in a mansion, is a womanizer, has a ferrari.) Plus he has the best scene in tv history:

(backstory: man who tortured magnum and three of his freinds in vietnam comes to get the ones who escaped and killed magnum's friend who's last words were "lets head out to paui lookout and see the sunrise!")

braveheart

Henry V:

We were soldiers

Pretty much any Schwarzenegger film would count here too, as would a ton of action films.

For me it's more interesting to think about which films have a plot or theme that are geared toward men, perhaps as well as gratuitous violence, scantily-women, and so forth.

Good news on Fight Club, it's finally being released on Blu-Ray.

I love how it was one of those typical monologues when the bad guy says that the good guy could never kill him in cold blood and turns to walk away, and it looks like its going to be the usual ball-less hero-does-the-pussy(right)-thing and then magnum just blows him away.

Do "guy cry" movies count, or do they have to be shoot-em-ups with a lot of blood?

try anything with charlton heston - but only the first part of the ten commandments.

ben-hur, with all the chariot race-ness and chained to the galleys heroism. aaand the greatest show on earth - receiving a blood transplant from your romantic competition.

on the waterfront, some big marlon brando musclage there.

there are also tons of frank sinatra 'bachelor' movies out there. sinatra is the ultimate playboy, dating fifteen people at a time, all while serenading and cracking jokes with his best friend who happens to play the piano.

oh, and any movie with elvis presley playing himself. he always manages to find some oriental children and either teach them a song or have them teach him a song.

and [fine, fine] 300.

click on my sig. He takes on about 300 bullets and then continues to kill 20 men before they can reload. Is that made of man and beast mode, or is it not?
