No, just Carver being his usual self and not understanding the comic, narration and the pretty pictures.

Seems pretty straight forward.
"Speed of light" was right there in the narration, spelled right and everything.
I take it you dont agree.
Thats certainly your prerogative, but this isnt a thread asking for facepalms, just Thor feats. stick out tongue

If you read the pages before you will see that the containment was supposed to mess with the light not with those two, they did not accelerate or something like that, Tutinax has not ftl fighting speed to my knowledge, but anyway. Thor at his strongest is a Thor not written by marvel.

It's the probably the way Carver writes.

The way he construes it, one might think Thor actually succeeded at defeating a celestial, or even did better than Odin did, when in fact neither Thor nor Odin were able to do any serious harm to the celestials (despite having good showings).

Then there's the (intentional?) misinterpretation of Thor's fight with Tutinax.

No we can, but not from a wrong combination of pictures and words, those were not about Thor and Tutinax but the containment.

Has nothing to do with hyperbole.

It's about him claiming that Thor did things he did not do.

Not sure why you're trying to push Thor-hate on me.

Wait a minute. Nothing I said was wrong. Also, read the scan. It states the containment field SLOWS down the speed of light, not give someone the speed of light. Two different things. Also, when did I say Thor defeated a Celestial (OMG)? Reread my post.

If the room slows down the speed of light, how fast was Thor and Tutinax moving since we still see them, ya know, fighting and trading blows at incredible speeds? Think my friend. Use that noggin.

One does not allow the entrance to the house of EL, if the brother kriz share our philosophy he's already in.

See the beyonder thread please, brother Professor already explained our new dogma there.

Sorry Carver, if you slow down the speed of light you see more copies of both, that is what they are referring to. They see Thor and Tutinax multiple times in different stances, because the light, and only the light, ist slowed down, they are at normal speed though.

Doesn't make one bit of sense. If a room can slow down the speed of LIGHT. Anything slower than that should be at a standstill. Do you not understand this?

It slows only light down, reread it and think for once.
