I'd probably go vegan and skip all other sweets if I could keep drinking booze and that comes from someone who stops drinking alcohol regularly

I stopped drinking about 6-7 years ago. You feel so much better for it.

Yeah, moderate drinking actually helps with stones.

Heavy just makes them worse.

Actually, both small and large consumption have been linked with the reduced chance of developing stones.
