hmm, in one of the scans above, SS v Orion, it says that SS is almost as powerful as the infinite Galactus.
there's rumours here on this forum, that SS was made by Galactus to be able to eventually destroy Galactus. if so, just how much is the Silver Surfer holding back or failing to utilise his true potential in his battles with creatures like Thanos?
or is this just the usual hyperbole that accompanies comic heroes?
if so, it's sort of out of character for the Silver Surfer, I think. if anything he's usually understated for all his boasting, the feats he accomplishes are usually more awesome.
no as a matter of fact galactus did state that ss has the ability to one day destroy galactus/surpass his initial power setting.
actual SS does normally hold back when not he can =unleash billion watts of power, however gaglactus placed mental blocks on SS which was only released during AW.
Surfer stating again that he could trace a speck of dust amongst the infinite void. And stating that NO living being can hide from his awareness, if he is searching them out.
Galactus doesn't say he cannot withstand that energy he says that not even he can use it for long without being consumed ore killed by it. Isn't that what he is saying ???
That Tenebrous & Aegis vs SS rematch was nice. I was worried the Srufer would just plain overpower them with his upgrade, but...I like the way he defeated them. Still employing his abilities, but with brains behind his actions.
