So the question is why are you trying to make a big thing out of it?

For someone who doesnt give a crap about Wanda you've certainly laid down an Oscar winning portrayal of a devoted fan. Not only were you begging me me to find her a place in the hierarchy but i dont believe theres a Wanda thread on these forums that you havent placed your "valuable" stamp on.
Oh, this is rich indeed. Yes, I'm waiting for my Oscar in the mail. You, of all people, are trying to label me a fanboy? I barely read the character.

You really can’t take it when people disagree with you can you?

Scarlet Witch vs Parallax. Tell me how many Scarlet Witch threads have there been recently. Oh. Two. Others were Avengers threads and, no, I didn't go into them eagerly anticipating SW.

After reading HoM #7 it appeared to me she should be placed on the hierarchy - according to you "Can we chuck Scarlet Witch on the hierarchy. I think she deserves a place." made as a general comment to anyone reading that thread constitutes "begging" you specifically - which implies you believe you are the one and only authority on said hierarchy. Again: You really need to get over yourself.

Read above couldn’t care less. However I don’t take kindly to people talking down to me. You have a condescending attitude. Does it bother you when people point that out? Well I supposed when someone believes they are superior to others it's difficult to conceive of themself having faults.

The incongruity came up in this thread – I wasn’t trying to score points off your precious Phoenix. I just wanted an answer to a question. I asked a question that you refuse to answer in a simpler straightforward manner. The “off topic question” is on the mutual exclusivity of two points that are the basis of your numerous theses on the Phoenix. If you could provide a simple logical answer you would. Instead I get someone spouting their opinions as irrefutable truth in a patronizing tone. You won’t answer it, can’t or you won’t because you can’t. I leave threads when I have nothing more to say. Like after this post – with my question still unanswered.

Fascinating how in the same sentence you're trying to deny that you act in an arrogant manner and think you're better than others you show both those qualities. Someone who writes endless essays, posts in a condescending manner to anyone who disagrees with them, talks about "scoring points" and "winning" in a comic vs forum and will never let a thread with Phoenix in it die until others just can't be bothered anymore is telling other people that they take the forums way too seriously?

The fact is i dont wish to indulge and feel no obligation to when it has no bearing on this topic and the reasons behind its posing are distinctly juvenile. On top of that as a matter of goodwill ive actually already answered the question, just not in the way you wanted (the so called "empty retorts" LOL). Hence the tantrums. I can tell you its been a lot of fun watching you degenerate in response to each contribution i make. smile
You haven't answered anything. I don’t gain “pride” and “satisfaction” from vs forums, you’re mistaking me with you. "juvenile" and "tantrums"? Hmm, I do recall a thread in which you resort to ***s at - I think it was - Nate Grey, when he challenged your ideas.

Again this idea that people are here to try and "win" something? Is there some kind of prize I haven't been made aware of, which you get when threads "go your way."?

Well, this has been revealing about your frame of mind when you post on these forums now hasn’t it?

Well if you think im replying to all of that youre outta your mind. I really dont care enough about the topic to invest that much effort. At the end of the day this off topic question arose when the thread had died down and this Wanda hype had been clarified. Ive already answered your question just not in a manner that satisfies you and eases the hurting inflicted on your pride. My thoughts on the matter are quite clear i will not spell out the answer merely to satisfy your pride. Plus im having a lot of fun witnessing the increasingly degenerate behaviour on display.

If someone insults me then i will sure as hell respond in kind. You were the one to start getting uppity here and i replied as is my right to. Yet im the one who derides people for disagreeing with me? Not the case at all. Im never the first but i assure you im always the last.

This condescending attitude is a result of the juvenile manner displayed when this thread didnt go your way. You dont like being talked down to well dont act in a manner befitting of it.

People can disagree with me all they want it makes for a fun debate however if someone starts throwing insults then am i wrong for eventually responding with more than was sent my way? Dont try and take the moral high ground here X. Youre really not in a position to.

As Phoenix is the archetypal form of Jean as the two are one the question posed has no bearing on this debate in fact on any versus thread debate therefore i am under no obligation to give you a direct answer. eek!

If it was out of genuine interest then so be it but i have no interest in soothing the pride of someone who by all appearances should be beyond such pubescent mannersims.

I guess appearances really are deceiving.

Thats all i will contribute to this matter. If someone has something on topic to contribute then i'll certainly be back. smile
