Cap is uniquely "semi-worthy" of lifting Mjolnir.

- most people can neither lift it nor gain any personal power from it
- some individuals are worthy and can both lift it AND gain personal power from it (strength, stamina, garment) -- BRB, Donald Blake, Eric Masterson, Jane Foster, etc.
- Cap, and Buri/Tiwaz, and worthy Odin, and worthy Thor, , and some constructs, can lift it but NOT gain any personal power/appearance from it

Conclusion: Captain America is either a skyfather or a robot / animated nonliving creature.
