man this is a depressing thread.

so far i haven't seen any pictures of aquaman doing anything impressive.

so aquaman lifted part of a street underwater.
namor has lifted submarines into the air.

does anyone have any really impressive aquaman pictures.

what are his most impressive feats.

OTHER then what his Water-hand can do.

Your opinion. Personally i think there's been tons of impressive stuff.

And... your point? Aquaman's not as strong as Namor, and anyone who tells you he is, doesn't know what they're talking about. But still, he lifted most of a city block. I think most people will agree that's damn impressive. Might not be impressive for someone like Namor or Superman, but then this isn't a Namor or Superman respect thread is it? It's an Aquaman respect thread. And it's an impressive feat, for Aquaman.

Believe it or not, but Aquaman comics tend to be more about the actual story and characters, instead of crazy feats of strength and whatnot.

But i'll be posting many more scans throughout the next couple of weeks. I'll also be organising them into catogories, Character moments, Strength feats, TP feats, etc.

Maybe then you'll be impressed. Maybe not.

Aquaman vs. Olympian
Arthur takes out Olympian who earlier in the issue took out Jo'nn. Plus some cool facts about Arthur's abilities are given. Such as being able to swim Niagra falls upstream.

Lifting a city block is quite impressive what with all the concrete, metal, cars, buildings, etc. That's thousands and thousands of tons.

That street was probably heavier than a sub, if you get a good look at the picture, you can see how large it is, how much water Aquaman is having to displace[ever increasing the weight], and the fact he's lifting not only the street, but the cars and buildings on top of it.

I just finished reading it. Great issue. Lots of emotion. Looks like Arcudi's gonna end his run well. I'm extremely looking forward to Arthur's confrontation with Black Manta next issue.

Soo long to wait...

Aquaman vs. Tiamat
While Arthur was defeating Kordax (the Aquaman vs. Kordax part 2 scans a couple of posts back) Tiamat had been beating on Power Girl and Arion outside. Aquaman uses his TP to end the fight very quickly and completely take over Tiamat sending her into Atlan's bag. It's revealed that Akk-hord had given Arthur's abilities a slight push when he did this, but also that Arthur had the potential for it all along.

i admit that was imressive, but namor has lifted subs OUT of water.

the water made the concrete and buildings much easier to lift and orin was in water while doing this.

Surely bouyancy makes many things seem lighter. It's easier to lift a person in water, but at the surface, you're not displacing much water. Near the bottom, a lot of water gets displaced, and the pressure is incredible. The amount of water held by all those buildings, and the amount it displaced, and including all the concrete and cars, etc.. Made that well above what a sub weighs I assure you.

Impressive for his class of strengh. Nobody hes saying hes as strong as Superman level guys.

That streeth was lifted underwater, wich makes it alot heavier. It IS a impressive feat.

"Koryak is dead"

Lets see how this will lead, i have been liking the new writers take on the character since #1. The best since David.

"Arthur takes out Olympian who earlier in the issue took out Jo'nn"

pirate

Nah im kidding. It was cool. Nice to see tritons trident its put in use sometimes.
