powerfulone you really dont get this.. he said she almost died because she was around an unstable explosive, that did in fact go off. She was very safe when it did go off and that wasnt what almost killed her. It was the fact that for a long period of time it could have gone off and would have killed her, she barely got away from it in time. She looked worse most likely because she had debree on her, and very likely blood from the bomb squad captain who exploded. She had minor injuries and was showered off to get the disgustingness of another persons blood and everything off of her. She was still a bit in shock and had minor injuries, and just the entire idea of possibly losing meredith got to McDreamy.
