Cosmic storms has the word storms in the name, so she can control those too.

Who cares if its a misnomer and such names don't exist in every other language for the same concept? That matters not for she is storm mistress of elements, including the perioodic "elements" so she can manipulate metals and turn lead into gold.

Even that 5th element of spirit is an element, and since she's their mistress she can suck people's souls out of them.

Who cares if she's never really done anyt f these things in current continuity or feasability! Storm is more than what she actually is because what she actually is isn't good enough. We have to exagerate her powers otherwise you're a hater!

I hope that the sarcasm isn't missed, and that 2damn by some miricle picks up on my words and sees the error of his ways.

Well the first line i thought you being serious lol by the second I had caught on...I'm a lickle slow lol

I have just though of something eles even if Storm can produce radiation, what protects her from it? Does she have anti radiation powers now as well that allow her to sit in the middle of it unaffected.

She's immune to her own powers. Oh and wind is the kinetic force movement of air molecules. So therefore she can control kinetic energuy and is immune to it, therefore whenever she moves it's PIS.

Er.. I mean whenever she IS moved. after all her wind moving rocks is a side effect of weather. therefore she's immune to rocks. So any instance of her being hurt by anything is PIS. She is a goddess after all, and not like the wannabe Thor. But a real goddess.

easiest way to end a storm arguement is simply to state. If storm uses to much of her power she will kill her self.

........funny how you ignore the fact storm really is not all powerful. I mean for starters it a fact if she even attempts to use to much power she dies. Hell even if she uses a lot of power over time she will become paralized.

This is not true. She held the essense of Eternity himself and did not die. She had no problems with it. When she summoned the full power of millions of stars, the issue stated it was simple. What was going to kill her (till the acanti saved her) was the fact the stunt left her drifting in deep space without any life-support. She easily tapped into enough power to overwhelm the Trion, the sum of an entire reality, and defeated them. Again, there was no threat to her health.

Deal with it. wink

I never understood the difficulty many people see in defeating extreme powerhouses, especially if there are telekinetics or quasi-telekinetiks involved.
All those heroes should simply stop fighting strength with strength when they perfectly know that the opposing strength is superior, so ignore Woverine and Colossus.

Possible strategy:

1. step) Magneto levitates the Hulk, he does NOT try to restrain him ... just plain old levitation (let the Hulk fidget as much as he wants). Since Magneto can easilysupport way above 100 tons of mass, the Hulk's weight shouldn't be a problem.

2. step) Storm creates a vacuum around the Hulk. Since she can create atmospheric pressures of several thousand bar, and the difference between normal atmosperic pressure and a vacuum is only one bar, this should not at all be a problem for her.

Result)
The levitating Hulk can't use his strength against anyone, since he has no solid ground from which he can project this strength.
The Hulk can't use his thunderclap, since this would be nothing more than pressure waves of compressed air. And air is something he dos not have, since he is floating in a vacuum.
After some time (possibly hours, but who cares) the Hulk suffocates.

That is NOT even how that works.

Of course Lightning's interaction with wood results in fire. so Storm can also throw massive fireballs and shoot gouts of flame from her hands.

Cold weather lowers a person's immune system thus getting them sick, Therefore by the same reasoning that Storm can control Radiation she can also control fire and diseases.

It is why Apocalypse took her on to be the horsemen of pestilence after all. And no, Storm went willingly because she was tired of being a good guy after throwing stars at the planet and solar winds.

Look, from the very beginning, Storm was able to control the solar wind. Her first Uncanny issue was 94. By 99, she was controlling steller winds. So this is from the get-go. When they did the reprint of it in Classic, they tried to change it to that lightning stuff, however, that was then erased when they did the Brood Saga later on in Classic. They reinstated her ability to control the solar winds and actually had her still summoning the full power of millions of stars. Afterwards, in Unlimited issue 1, she is called the Mistress of the Cosmic storm as well as planetary ones. In the last couple of Official Handbooks, they have made it a point to include her ability to control solar winds and stars in her bio. You may not like the fact she has this ability, but she does. Deal with it.

your not real up to date are you? due to her over use of powers her body has payed the price. It been stated in new x-men that if she uses excessive power she will kill her self, because of all the damage her powers have caused her body over the years.

so Nope you deal with it and try to stay current here, don't live in the past.
