The 2,000,000th post game

I threaten to take out the pawn on c7 with my knight, which would be a fork of my opponent's King and his queen's rook. This is a move all but probably the least experienced of chess players rapidly become VERY familiar with.
Is it worth bothering with in this game? My opponent castles rather than risk trying to find out ...

... whereupon, though it would probably have been wiser to have protected my h-file rook with my queen, I attack his King with my knight anyway, albeit in his new castled position. He runs to the ALMOST clear h-file, happily ...

... and I help him clear the rest of it, INCLUDING my king's rook ...

... a task he only reluctantly helps me with ...

... because he can see exactly what sort of prison my queen and knight have MADE of his castle, thanks to said cleared h-file. It's the chess equivalent of a Game of Thrones sky cell. Welcome to the Eyrie, friend.

Sadly one of their co-stars passed away recently, at only 20, from an epileptic seizure.

Thanks for responding. It would have been exceedingly hard to discover who they were or are, without outside help. I still don't know both, but, from what I can gather, the blonde goes by the name, "Dove Cameron".

Anybody know which country's flag this is?

Be the first to own a no-prize today for answering this question!

Do I even want to guess at how much symbolism is contained in this shot?

In no particular order, (possibly even the right one)

Jamie Somers, aka Lindsay Wagner, Kara Webb Saunders, at competition, beach, and park, and Dove Cameron being lifted and carried by her sister @litpmusical

The problem above underscores how big a role counting and pawn promotion can play in a game.

You know how a business has opening day. Open for business. Practice openings and profit from your knowledge of chess.

I've got a friend who does something similar, and it pays him more handsomely than the casual KMC poster might believe.

I'll give your suggestion some serious thought, WM.

I should probably experiment with a variety of lists and formats.
Current musing is last name first, first name last and hyperlinked entries under the name. Good for real people; might even do it for fictional ones.
Expand as I go, much like with my other lists.

Klaus-Carter, Sabine
-- Sabine leg presses one, then two guys who are sitting on a leg press machine to challenge her.

Otto, Sharon
-- Sharon Otto leg presses 1,000 pounds.

Game drawn because of clock running out on me.
It was my move and I had a pawn about to get promoted to finish the game.
Opponent was higher ranked and treated me pretty roughly much of the way throughout. Think he made 1 or 2 blunders, though, so I'm proud of being able to reverse my fortunes, but only so much so. A much longer game than it felt like, move-wise.

Possibly the one on the right is the man Tyson beat to win his heavyweight title.

She appears to have some impressive pecs to go with her all around strength.
I would love to have a gym goer with natural hidden talent like this as a client.
