The 2,000,000th post game

Well, young-ISH.

AND

It takes 10 to 12 minutes to walk at a moderate pace.

For an average person who runs for fitness, 7 to 8 minutes is a good time to run one mile.

Women in their 50s who run the mile in 10 minutes or less are considered to have "good" fitness levels.

Maybe I'm believing too much the reports of how sedentary Americans have become, especially young Americans, but, I'd find it difficult to believe most people born after 2000 have ever deliberately even TRIED to run a mile if they weren't on some type of high school sports team. And while 10 minutes seems a low standard to rate a "good" fitness level, I wonder how many people chosen out of a crowd would do even a 7 minute mile before giving up without a LOT of incentive nowadays. Just don't see it.

Game with someone of comparable "Elo" rating.
Position worth studying for me personally; a lot of the bad situations my opponent found himself in were "default" problems with me "happening" to be in the right place only because the King's Gambit-like setup tends to lend itself to favorable positioning for White. Once you've dislodged the enemy King, at least.
The really crucial detail after the dislodged King was my knight remaining posted at f3 for the latter half of the game. This prevented his Queen from being the heroine she would have revealed herself as otherwise.

I’m not the best judge of thing, TBH.
I spent my adult life in a profession where even ppl who were considered lazy, out of shape, slackers...still exercised 11/2 - 2 hours a day 5 days a week (or got real creative at getting out of it 😛 ).

More King's Gambit power illustrated.

Higher ranked opponent gave up after my last move;
the game didn't promise to be very good for him afterwards.

it's a long story, mods closed the thread to build hype for the millionth post so while it was closed a couple other threads were made to replace it, then when this reopened, Mitch got the millionth post, those who were there saw it. Then shortly after the mods merged the other threads into this one messing all the posts up and replacing the millionth post so now it appears Quincy got the millionth post.

Then xyz renamed it 2 millionth post thread but by that point no one cared anymore and xyz mental health and life spiralled out of control and he hasn't been heard from since
