yes, although obi-wan is awesome, anakins failure was his own, he thought he could train anakin as well as qui-gon or yoda taught him, but then again, it was ANAKINS choice to turn to the dark side

very debatable. One thing is for certain, if Qui Gonn had not died and had sought to train Anakin instead of Obi Wan, then it is not as likely that Anakin would have fallen to the dark side.

Qui Gonn has all the qualities of an excellent mento or tutor. He would teach in a patient manner. He would offer gentle criticism when needed and praise when warrented to his student.

It was Obi-Wan, it was Mace, it was Yoda, it was the Jedi in general, it was Padme. They all contributed in some way to Anakin's fall.

But that fall would likely not have happened had he not been fed a bunch of lies and half-truths from Palpatine. It was HIS fault.

Obi-Wan, because he was Anakin's master and teacher, felt it was HIS fault because that long-time student had failed as a Jedi.

it's all Padme's fault. If Padme didn't marry Anakin, he wouldn't fall to the dark side. Because remember what Yoda said, "Attachment leads to jealousy. Jealousy leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering."

Try... "If Anakin didn't marry Padme."

It was his attachment to Padme that turned Anakin to the darkside. He grew so attached that he would do anything to hold on to her, and Palpatine was able to exploit this.

i dunno, i picked "Yes", it was Obi Wan's fault.

Anakin was completely Obi Wan's responsibility.

Kenobi felt responsible for what happened to Anakin because he was the boy's mentor and close friend and should have been able to predict and prevent it.

Obi Wan was too inexperienced at the time to train a kid who exceeded the age limit. He's a stupid. :'-(

The Force is not a sentient creature. Anakin had a choice to go either way... he chose poorly.
