Now they're making bio engineered bull semen to make low methane cows that don't burp as much.

And you guys wonder why climate deniers exist.

Non burping cows has to be the DUMBEST idea ever. If global warming is that important I'm sure there are far more conventional and effective methods then this weird science.

Less methane from cows adds to the greater whole process of reduction. There's no one item solution, a lot of things need to change. More cars going electric, more homes using solar panels to supplement energy needs, cleaner mass transit etc.

You're dumb thumb up

And we have hit Idiocracy.

I guess you really will justify anything that remotely fits a narrative. If they chose to cremate the dead and deny any more burials to clean up the environment as a late night court drama joked you'd probably justify that too.

It's very sad. Lahaina Town was beautiful. I spent 6 nights there. The island will be fine. Stuff grows back so fast there. The people will have a hard time for awhile. But not because of climate change...

Honestly, it might be too late regardless: and at the heart of everything is our use of power. We would have to almost give it up completely to erase our footprint.

By all means stop using power, give China an even bigger advantage as they pass us at full steam!

Who cares if they won't nerf themselves to save some caribou, we'll be the Supreme world power forever without any power at all! thumb up 🤪

Not saying we should do that: I don't think that's possible or realistic. I'm saying that's honestly at the heart of the climate change rule.

Would mankind be better off with a smaller population, natural small scale communities with sustainable ways of life and probably no Internet, no corporations or larger national governments? Yeah probably. Never ever going to happen though.

The people (usually Rightist) who argue that the US shouldn't strive for cleaner/renewable energy sources because "Chi-nah!", are very, very low intelligence types.

Even if China did nothing (though they are, cos pollution is literally killing them) and the US something, that's still going to lessen the blow overall.

If Klaus Schwab and his cronies say climate change is real then it must be so. It's not like they have an agenda ...

The lights in your home are already doing that. It's still cleaner for the environment if you supplement the energy they use with a solar panel or two on your roof.

Yes it does dickwad. But no to the extent what they are saying.

Stop letting rich psychopaths use it as an excuse to dicate over your life.
