Audrey Tautou To Topline 'Nowhere To Go But Up'

Nowhere to Go But Up
"Amelie" star Audrey Tautou is to topline the low-budget feature "Nowhere to Go but Up," reports Variety.

The movie co-stars Justin Theroux ("Mulholland Drive") and Jennifer Tilly.

Story centers on an aspiring actress who comes to New York. Homeless in the Gotham streets, she happens to take up residence outside of the home of a cynical writer. Her optimism begins to drive him crazy.

"Nowhere" is Tautou's second English-lingo and first American pic. She last made British film "Dirty Pretty Things," helmed by Steven Frears. A Miramax release, "Amelie" is the most profitable French film released outside of France.

Kollek wrote the bestselling novel "Don't Ask Me If I Love."

Begins lensing in Gotham today under the helm of Amos Kollek ("Fast Food, Fast Women").
