Indeed. Vision tried that already in the past. It didn't do much, except hurting the Hulk a bit, but the Hulk kept coming.
Then he decided to become as massive as diamond, but Hulk just punched him into the ground.
Hulk wins.

Isn't that where Vision reconnected the Hulk with Banner after the two became separate entities? Supposedly he was trying to draw Banner's molecules back together and reintegrate them with those of the Hulk.
I don't think Vision would use that as a strategy to defeat the hulk, cause the Vision ain't dumb.
Like I said this is a nonfight, Hulk can't use his only power (strength) against something that he cannot touch, and there isn't much Vision can do to Hulk.
Sometimes there isn't always a winner, and I think this is one of those times.
definitely a draw ........... although....... Vision never gets tired....... so maybe he stay intangible until Hulk falls asleep..... last one conscious could be seen as a victory
I'm a bit confused from some of the posts (my apologies).
Has Vision tried solidifying in the Hulk's brain? If so, did Hulk's immune system fight Vision off...or is that just somebody's assumption?
It sounds reasonable that vision could win this way.But if so, does that mean that Kitty Pryde could defeat the Hulk by phasing some thing dangerous into his brain? It's frustrating yet interesting to think that one of Marvels' weakest heroes could take out one of their most powerful. Keeps things in balance.
Hulk samshes Black Bolt, The Thing and Iron Man but uh oh, here comes Shadow Cat!?
As the picture shows, Vision at first was able to phase into Hulk, but as Hulk got more angry he was no longer able to phase through his flesh, and got stuck inside of him. At that point Hulk's immune system began attacking Vision. Kitty Pryde tried to phase WWH partially into the ground but he was able to escape, although it did cause him severe pain. Apparently the more angry Hulk gets, the more dense his molecular structure itself gets.
