Captain America in Alpha Flight?
They're B-class in the same way you have B-list actors. A B-list actor may still be proficient and talented, they may even be moreso than some A-list actors. But they're still a B-list actor.
I have to agree with you, they really never amounted to anything. Wouldnt be ironic that this new series go to the top when almos none of the heroes are canadian and Captain America is in the roster?

Are you sure its BRB. We know that Thor is going to swap sides, so it would make sense that he would join Caps New Team. This gives a big hint as to who wins the Civil War. As the registartion act only applies to Ammerica i theorise that Cap and thor will be pushed into Canda. Anyway that team looks really cool, but that art hardly looks impressive. I hope that is just a front cover.

I believe Thor will be joining the New Avengers with Captain America (unless it's Steve Rogers as The Captain in Omega Flight), so each of the three teams has a god of sorts.

So wait a moment, there are going to be three teams ? Why the hell would America need two Avengers teams ? Writing two avengers books at the same times also seems a bit ridiculous. I'm pretty sure that is Cap in that 'Omega Flight' picture (Current circumstances and the shield are a real give away IMO, although i think its a bit absurd, giving away such a big Civil War SPOILER).

Yeah I was told New Avengers will not be cancelled and will continue on going. Mighty Avengers will be appearing in februrary and Omega Flight early 2007
US Agent had a similar shield in Alpha Flight #104, but no star. I honestly don't know who it is yet

"In the absence of Joe Quesada, the "Cup of Joe" panel that is so familiar at comic book conventions became the "Cup of Cebulski" at Toronto's Comic Book Expo this weekend.
The first thing Cebulski did was announce to those people in the room who missed the earlier panel where the news of a new ongoing Omega Flight series in 2007 was shared, which was greeted with a lot of cheering. After the announcement, he started the panel by asking for questions from the audience.
- He was asked whether or not the Omega Flight team has been decided upon, and will there be a native Canadian on the team? "Yes, the characters have been decided upon," Cebulski said. "I can pretty much guarantee that yes, one of them will be Canadian."
