Ragman is a sweet character, but he's horrible outclassed here. Aside from his soul-absorption abilities, his magic is hardly amazing. Doctor Strange has gone head to head with the Soul Gem itself, in the hands of its most powerful user- so that's a non-issue here.
What's to stop Doctor Strange from summoning a force of demons, as well? He's done it before.
Dr Strange by himself would end up as a nut tickling whore for Etrigan.

Ion, Black Alice, and Captain Marvel handle those 3 with ease.
Hell, Batman uses Lex's infinitely programmable, infinitely configurable Kryptonian battleship and takes them out on his own.

Your counting Ion on earth? I thought the point of "DC earth" was no sky fathers or crazy characters like that. I don't think DC earth should have Ion or Captain Marvel.
With just DC earth, and prep, the Marvel team should be able to pull it off.
They live on Earth...and those are just 3 characters.
They can all be phantom zoned and powerless with ease.

Superman has beaten beings with those powers (Eradicator, Darksied), Supes has been up against plenty. And like I said, Supes is far more powerful than you. He has strength destroy planets and mess up time, his Heat Vision is hotter than the sun, Cold breath can easily freeze cosmic level beings, he has highten senses, is immune to any type of disese, he's immune to transmutation, high resistance to mind attacks, and he has reality warpping abilities thanks to T-vo. Not all the heralds have the same abilities, and Hearld have been beaten by people who were less versatile than them like Thor, Thanos, and Black Bolt. So even Supes doesn't need all those fancy powers.
Supes is on par, with any Herald.

In that case, this goes for every single comic character then. I guess writers use PIS whenever Thor, Thanos, Surfer, X-men, and Hulk is around to right?
