some of these characters are alive. the rest arent or arent technically, and most have some kind of demonic connection, all except one.

I'm just going to be talking about Michael Vs Jason.
First of all, Michael Myers is immortal, Jason is not. Jason needed some sort of influence for him to wake up from the dead, like the lightning in Jason Lives that shocked his heart. He was out long enough for Tommy Jarvis to grow up and escape from a mental institution, if that lightning hadn't occurred, Jason would never have revived. Jason is just incredibly durable, not immortal like Michael.
Michael Myers just seems to come back for no reason, actually, there is a reason, he can't die. The closest he came to dying was in Halloween 2, when he was set on fire. But, they never found his body, and he returned in The Return of Michael Myers.
1 thing I don't get about Halloween 5. At the end of 4, he landed in that old man's house, and passed out. A year later, he was still there. He just laid on the ground for a year? What the hell?
In Resurrection, that one guy was trying to cut his face with knives, waving them in his face as fast as he could. Michael was fast enough to dodge every single attempt at that guy trying to hurt him.
And we all know Michael is smarter, and stealthier.
I won't even go into that.
Plus, Michael is the only immortal one in this fight. Jason is going down.

not only cant he die, he can come back together.
he's strong enough to break a person in half, punch a mans head clean off his shoulders and into the air, drive a machette through someone and the tree behind them. he can also phantom walk, think of it like Daken. he just "appears" somewhere your not looking. differance thats biggest between Jason and the other slashers, jason is for all intents and purposes a ghost, maybe demon, since he has literallly come back from hell itself dozens of times. the only way to even neatralize Jason is to chain him to the bottom of Cap Crystal lake, or some high end magic. while durable and near immune to pain, the other slashers are simply mortals.
