Meanwhile back in the city of nor preperations were under way for the upcoming tournament all shops were being restocked ready for the buying customers who would shell loads of goods such as Potions, weapons, armour and so on. The tournament itself was dangerous, monsters and other nasties would be let out over various sections of the city. It was the participants job to deal with them and then find the clues which would of course be hidden pretty much anywhere. The people were protected from the monsters of course, and many would turn out for the event which was a celebration that makes the city prosper and gather. Ayne a local renound alchemist and mage was stocking the items in her shop when several large carts went passed the shop window. Ayne put down the box of viles she was holding in her arms and walked over to the window to have a closer look. The carts no doubt held dangerous monsters inside as they made they through the city towards the palace gates. With a nod of her head she returned back to what she was doing and wondered who would win it this year not that she cared for such things of course.
After the kings men retreated she knew she was marked now and in grave danger, she took out the egg from under her cloak and held it as if it were as precious as a baby. The responsibility of this egg now was hers alone she had to protect it with her life and find somewhere safe now untill the egg would choose a dragon rider and then hatch. Arya placed the egg back inside and continued on through the woods.

Niraya reached the bottom of the ladder and looked around, it was roomy but had a few flame torches here and there that gave off some light. The room held some stock from the shop such as weapons and armour there was also some books stacked on a shelf intrigued she walked over and read a few of the binders she touched the one that read Draconius which activated a secret door with caution she walked in.

Nimira was sitting in a tree in the woods of nor eating a happy and gazing in thought. She glanced whilst chewing on a rather large bite of that apple and noticed the princess arya riding on her steed with one arm steering the reigns and the the other holding something under her cloak. With interest nimira stood up and jumped down out of the tree and landed on her feet, " Princess " nimira called out after her and walked towards arya's direction.
Arya looked back in surprise and her horse slowed down and did a rotation to face the female elf warrior, " Nimira " she replied and then got off her horse to greet her.
The realm of nor lies to within the largest continent to the north. It is divided into various sections to the races who dwell there.
** Humans**
Take the center of the continent. on the outskirts of the largest city small towns, villages, farmlands amongst surrounding countrysides, If you don't reside in the city you will live in either one of them places. There is always work available, But pay is unless you own a store is not very much due to high taxes to the king.
**Elves**
The elves beloved by nature dwell within the forests of nor, amongst other creatures, both to the east and the west of the continent. The elves are both skillful warriors, archers, rangers, and wise to the ways of the world and beyond. They tend to not assosciate much with humans or other races, due to distrust of them.
**The Druids**
Born of magic and gifted in the arts and knowledge of their philosophy.
They take the north section of the continent and reside in the mountain region of nor.
Many years ago, a bloody all night battle broke out, that even to this time the post- tragedies of what happened can still be felt even now. Dragons back then lived amongst all creatures both human and the like, there were ones who bestowed rare gifts that allowed them to either ride or tame the dragons. The ones who could ride the dragons were named as Draconius Remi meaning Dragons riders, and the ones who could tame the dragons were known as Draconius Lor meaning Dragonlords.
The legend says that both are born and not taught, and are rare and is a unique gift because any race could be blessed and be born a dragonlord, or a dragon rider. With a dragon rider, In this case some are born natural and can master the ability with ease, and with others takes a little longer to bond with the dragon which chooses the rider, and can take years to form. But once he/she masters it, the bond between the two is unbreakable both willing to die in the place of the other. When both rider and dragon work together as one the power of the dragon flows through the rider and everyone knows a dragons magic is both powerful and mighty, to be used for good or evil...
Such was a man yet he was not always wicked as he is now and how he acted in that battle that bloodied the continent with his hate and power hungry evilness. His name is King Belphegor. He was born of both, a dragonrider and a dragonlord very rare indeed. At first he worked in harmony in the peaceful continent with the other riders and lords. Untill once fateful day when he and another rider got into an argument that started off small that quickly turned into such hate and anquish between the two, In a fit of temper and rage Belphegor unleashed the power of the dragon that under his permittance and control had no choice to obey his master, the other riders dragon tried to protect his rider but in tragedy the dragon was the first to die. devastated by his loss and with the loss of his dragon his heart cried, But the damage had been done and Belphegor anger still fresh did not blemish in the slightest for what he had done and showed no mercy when he took his sword and stabbed his former friend with it. With his last breath the rider recited to Belphegor that one day the blood of both he and his dragon would be claimed with his own, an eye for an eye and a tooth for tooth.
Then he was gone but not before something happened the power from him and his dragon passed on to Belphegor and his own dragon making them twice as powerful than before. Filled with power he realised the power he had and could have if he could be the only dragon lord and rider. His heart that once spoke truth and peace, was corrupted with power and greed that spread like poison to his soul and whatever he felt, the dragon was also turned to the darkside also like Belphegor.
Fresh with his new found knowledge for taking another rider and his power was by killing them. with his arrogrance and promises he managed to turn others of all races to his side and then he launched an outscale attack on the dragons, their riders and the dragonlords. others who did not allign with Belphegor and did not agree with what he was doing joined the fight with the riders and so on. The battle was intense and bloody, It took place in both the sky and the ground flames from the dragons spread throughout the continent causing smoke and ash to blow and choke everywhere. One by one the dragons and their riders fell to Belphegor's wickedness and power, Both he and his dragon consumed the power into themselves making them more power hungry and evil as the riders along with the dragons fell under them dead.
Bodies scaled everwhere, realising defeat at the hands of King Belphegor , many retreated who joined him at realising they had no choice, Three who got away were a dragon, his rider and a dragonlord were the only ones of their kind who did. they fled where Belphegor would not go to the south continent of nor. after a month of hiding out and when all hope seemed lost that they would be the only of their kind other than Belphegor left a miracle happened, it was found that the dragon who was female was pregnant and it gave birth to a rather large cluster of eggs. realising how dangerous they were if Belphegor got his hands on them and realising that maybe the riders could be born and the reign of the dragons would reign once more. So in the greatest of secrecy and with a few trusted allies with the carious counterparts from the north, east and west the eggs were seperated and looked after untill the time would come when the dragons inside each would hear the voice of the one the dragon belongs to and that time was almost upon them.
Present day - King Belphegor has pretty much the whole continent in his grasp and as well as being power-hungry he is also greedy and wants the wealth of the land in his pocket. His army is often seen roaming villages and towns in pursuit of taxes to the king. If not paid then they raid their stores turning them inside out or use the citizens as payage as slaves to work off their debt. Also Belphegor has also become aware that the past dragon was pregnant and is sneding scouts searching the areas looking for the eggs so he can claim them for his own. This month is the yearly festival of all races to participate in the tournament and gauntlet set by the king. It is also a ploy by him to sniff out any potentials who may have with them a dragon egg.
The start of the rp will begin leading up a few days before so it could be a journey of some what for you to travel to the nor city for the festival or you could be in a town, a village, in the forest, mountains and then travel and so on.

Humtear walked behind a hut with a egg in his hand. He recieved it from a their stealing the egg. After chasing him down he confiscted the egg and kept it. Of course Humetear didn't report the their, but in return he kept the egg. This was 3 years ago. Now he had a grown dragon named Nog. Humetear could not ride his dragon yet but he tamed it. He hoped to become a dragonlord one day. In his small castle inherited from his father he kept Nog. Walking through the streets Humetear looked for something to do. He walked in the woods when he saw the princess, his cousin(hope it's alright arya), and a ovther girl. "Well what do we have here Arya?

Arya turned her attention to her cousin who was a fair bit from nor city, " Humetear. To what are you refering to ? " she replied with a solemn tone clutching the egg under her cloak in a protective manner trying her best not to give away that she had stolen a dragon egg from king Belphegor.

Haron was lying in his underground hideout sleeping, when he heard several clonking sounds coming through the fake ground, that acted as the hideouts cieling. Haron jumped up, and slowly grabbed his bow ,drawing an arrow. He poked his head out of a small leafy hole that he used for the lookout. Haron saw 2 women, one with a fairly expensive cloak on, with golden threads running through it, and a white horse. Yet he couldn't see what she was holding, the other was a commoner of the forest, along with him. They had met on several occasions.

Arya sighed there was no point in trying to hide what she stole and took from what was hidden under her cloak and revealed a dragon egg to her cousin and nimira, " Before you say anything. Yes it's a dragon egg. Yes I'm in a lot of trouble now because I'm almost got caught from the kings men. "

Equester slowly rode through the forest his displeasure at being in the lands of his kin plain in his face. "What a disgrace they are. Couldn't even be able to wield a sword correctly without training for years, when we, th-" His angry speech to the surroundings was interrupted by a brief rustling and little yawn as a the black scaled head of a dragon baby popped out from one his pouches. Equester smiled as he always did when his little friend reminded him that there was somebody who was happy that he was there. "Did I wake you up?" his tone and face had taken their normal form: the kind but distanced expression of his kin. Only Cruentus could make him return to this expression. The fast-growing dragon baby climbed onto Equesters right shoulder to survey the woods. Uncounsciously the elf took out a piece of raw meat and gave it to Cruentus as he made his black mare go faster. He ignored the three elves to his left, they were probably talking about some kind of herb or tree. He really didn't care.

Haron rushed down, back into his hide-out. he hopped down to a lower level, and pulled a lever, followed by some yells from above. Haron climbed a rope up to the top level and pushed his cieling up, it rose up on a hinge. Haron hopped out, his hood covering his face.He had his bow drawn and a arrow pulled back. "Who are you?" haron asked the trio, who were convieniently hanging in a rope net, hooked up along a tree's branch.
