Hawk and Dove are fukin morons though. [SPOILER - highlight to read]: The whole thing with the bomb in Hank's chest could have been avoided if he'd trusted the team instead of the lunatic who faked his own death and was blackmailing people to commit crimes like murder. And it could have been resolved if Dove had just trusted the team instead of the lunatic who faked his own death and was blackmailing people to commit crimes like murder.
On a side note, I do like how they acknowledge that having a brain that runs at super speed by extension makes Conner kind of a natural genius.

Being the opposite of a Hawk is NOT ineffectiveness.

The first three episodes were fuk, but Jesus the writing in this show is stupid. I was hoping this season would improve on that front front from the prior 2.
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: Hawk went out like an idiot. This was already covered pretty well. Dove sucked too.
Batman murdering the living fuk out of Joker completely negates a huge part of Red Hoods entire motivation for becoming a villain. He doesn't make as much sense now.
On the plus side, at least the team is actually fighting together this season. That's an improvement. I also love how much fun Dick is having as Nightwing. He's almost in character with his comic counterpart.
Jason's story was interesting, but I just found it really dumb how [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Scarecrow can apparently go wherever he wants and how nobody else noticed that there's a conveniently placed mini Lazarus Pit in Arkham.

They struggle to know what to do with Superboy though. He's too powerful for the setting and plot, so they tend to have him do jack shit most of the time. Similar with Rachel too, which is why they literally had her written out for like 2/3 of the season.
Also, this show just loves shitting on Batman.
