The scan you post shows Strange distracting the Mighty Avengers team with illusions of their greatest fears long enough for his team to escape. Since no one is incapacitated, I can't imagine that this is the scene being referenced.

I know you were just identifying the scene he mentions. But his description of what happens is inaccurate. Sentry is not incapacitated. Not sure what Ms. Marvel's status is. Maybe she faints.

Yes, magic works on Sentry, but every instance we see, he is never defeated by it and overpowers it in the end. He is clearly highly resistant to it.
