Chewie is Class 100+ and more invulnerable than Superman, he almost killed Galan's Vader, who can control anything in a hundred galaxies while holding back and giving Galan a butt massage.
I don't see that happening, tbh... But it's not like Disney canon hasn't disappointed me before, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

It's just annoying because they could've still massively expanded on existing continuity without ever having Luke and Vader directly encounter one another... But here we are.
At least this will be the last issue in the series before the faux-reboot. I'm actually looking forward to that, tbh, because it'll explore a period of time that we know virtually nothing about(ie. the gap between ESB and RotJ.)
...It's also being written by Soule, who hasn't disappointed me yet and actually came up with some really cool concepts in the last Vader series(at least IMO.)

I dunno. I dont think the Maul cameo in Solo was just a wink to Rebels and Clone Wars fans. Weve seen their winks before, and theyre usually blink and youll miss it.
What do you see them doing with it? What kind of adversary or challenge do you think he could face?
Maybe throw in some run-ins with Jabba and his goons(like Boba Fett)? His communication and training with Qui-Gon and Yoda, and overall spiritual journey? This might also be a way for them to introduce some Thrawn stuff on screen as well. Dunno.
If Maul and Vader are included, they certainly don't have to directly interact with Kenobi at all. /shrug

Thrawn would be cool. Would also like to see Cad Bane in live action. And yeah Maul/Vader stuff could be like Thanos in GOTG.
I think communing with Yoda and Qui-Gon is kinda a must.
Yeah hope youre right. Could be some cool stuff without going all Sith. But just have a bad feeling Disney wont be able to resist.
On the other hand they really seem to be saving the live action Lightsaber fights for something else (Rey vs Kylo hardly even qualifies). So maybe they will resist their urges on this.
