I did not comment on this case, it should of course have an independent investigation, but the police in the United States statistically shoot an incredible amount of people per capita compared to most other OECD nations.
What is justified is a vast grey zone, who gets to decide what is justified and what is not justified is deeply tied into power structures of the status quo. What we can say for sure is that this many people would not have to die at the hands of police. How to achieve the much, much lower rates that most other countries have is contentious though, I suspect.
So anyone still trying to argue this wasn't justified, I say to thee: narrative denied.

Apparently he is paralyzed from the waist down. That will make future criminal activity much more difficult.

How is it ? That’s their job, your going against what your not supposed to do. If you’ve done nothing wrong you don’t need to resist. Making the situation worse with armed cops is nobody else fault but your own.
Now I wonder if the D.A. will cave to the mob and try to charge these cops with a crime?

That's the thing though: they don't really want them to go away. After all, if they went away, what would they write and report on besides the weather and sports? Kittens playing? In the end, they are a business and therefore need to make a profit over the long-run. They need things like death, violence, and division in order to do that.
