Mitch, there's pocket dimensions in Cyclops eyes. That's the kind of science that comics provide. Hulks power also comes from a pocket dimension. Wolverines bones are held together by one of the most powerful metals in the universe, yet he has no problem moving his limbs. I still don't understand how it makes him stronger. Is there any example in real science where anything acts like vibranium? Did you know we're constantly exposed to Gamma radiation? Where the hell are my super powers? Don't even get me started on time travel in comics.
My point, and my method of thought is this. It happens in comics, that makes it true. We shouldn't expect writers who don't happen to have Einsteins I.Q. to have to explain it.

On that same token who is who to discern what superpowers are? Who says there was never a person to crawl walls or have webbing, there was a show that mimmicked spieys webbing, and it held 3 cars.

He's tried killing Street level characters before and they have survived just fine. What was that guys name, Sin eater or something? And even though you discredit the Daredevil vs. hypnotised Spidey fight the fact remains that he's trying to kill.
It's not MAX cause it doesn't have to be. They could always draw it in a censored fashion if they wanted to so that's a poor excuse. Punisher did alot of the same things he does now in his MAX title, it was just drawn to not show explicit detail before.
He might well be able to do it to an average human but there's no way a high calibre fighter will allow it to happen to him. The same way a heroic character rolls on top of the car instead of being smashed head on that character can minimize damage done by Spidey.

Actually Wolvie and many other street level characters can take on a bear, so that makes the rest of your paragraph useless.
The only arguement I give is sight precedent, which I'm not sure you've done once. I know more about fighting than you could hope to ever learn, and I know it's not comparable to the fighting that happens in comic books.
