If Wolverine was there to kill him why didn't he kill him when he first entered his apartment instead of talking to him until Elektra fired at him through the window? He had more then enough time to kill Matt, instead he chatted it up, he wasnt there to kill him.

also I again how many plot devices was that? wolverine slipping and falling on a sword and ur given DD a win for that when daredevil was badly hurt and lucky wolverine fell on a sword. also what happen if that sword did not do the trick and snapp wolverine out it? serously it was all plot devices that saved DD.

what i implied is easy to follow:

wolverine didn't want to hurt matt..
getting up might (not for certain but MIGHT) defeat the purpose of that.
he didn't want to even give the chance to start fighting with matty... like he said he didn't know how long he was going to be clear minded...
and like you said he had something to tell matt...

no indication that he couldn't get up whatsoever...

and yes is was hinted..
"but you didn't bag a mask tonight.. I beat you"

The man goes toe to toe with namor........gets smashed by the hulk........survives a bomb at ground zero with no visual damage...........takes MULTIPLE hits from the hulk........takes on HUNDREDS of ninjas at once...........so what he sits in the elements for a little bit...........its a PERFECT example of how plot elements determine the strength of a character.
