Why not? Logan can be koed by deer-level attacks. It's highly unlikely for him to be one-shotted if he fights a less skilled opponent -I'd say nearly impossible-, but it's within the realm of possibility.

Spider-man didnt lift a hand to fight back and even then took her a plot device to finally get her claws on him. But I cant argue that she did better against him than Wolverine ever could.😈

Not even the most powerful HFs can deal with the awesome power of the DIRT.
And that's what fighting is about. It's not just about dodging and doing nothing else the entire time. Maybe he didn't have enough time to evade, though of that?
SS is what saves his ass, now he's just a loser who was intended to take off his mask and leave his friends in Fear Itself. You're lucky some fanboy editor didn't allow for that.
