That thread pre-dates the OTF by a longshot and has been allowed to remain there by Raz's permission. Stop thinking you're being smart about this, you're not. The GDF was not originally just a serious discussion forum, and on top of that, it's a tradition to have one general off-topic chat/discussion thread in every forum for the regulars of that specific forum. So it breaks no rules.

Duplicate threads are not allowed, threads about watching TV go in the TV forum, and if a vs. thread does not fit in a specific vs. forum on KMC it is not allowed to be created at all.

This is not up for any discussion, so it might be best to just drop it. And that's not a simple request, that's an order.
